In Northern Colorado, water is both landscape and lifeline. The Poudre River carries water from the mountains through our communities and farms, connecting ecosystems, economies, and people along the way. But a changing climate is altering when, where, and how much water is available.
Warmer winters, changing snowpack, earlier snowmelt, drought, wildfire, and increasing demand all put pressure on the watershed we share.
